Roma

Beautiful Mikki and Elena in the courtyard of their apartment in Rome.

Mom on a vespa! (This is as far as I drove it, of course.)

I rode with Roberta on the vespa and Federico and the girls rode their bikes all over downtown Rome. We visited a fantastic painting exhibit at the Quirinale museum called Ottocento, because that is what you do in Rome on the weekends. Bellisima!

The next day I went with Roberta and her elegant mom to see another exhibit at the Palazzo Venezia by an artist who studied with Michaelangelo. Roberta's mom was very knowledgeable about the artist and passionate about the paintings. Her mom only spoke Italian and shared with me the history of the artist. (I understood most of it.) What a beautiful experience in my favorite city!
