Jo-Mama Update

Mom's spending the weekend in Firenze! She went to a jazz club tonight, one of my favorite spots when I was there, and saw a fun old-timer's band. She said one of them reminded her of Grandfather! Go G-FA! The sun was out today on her side of the world and should stay that way for the weekend. She said "I may go on a garden hunt or just sit in the Boboli and read." What a life, eh?

She misses you all!

Mom sent these this week from her past two weeks of school. They were taking too long to load to her blog, so I'm helping her out! Aren't they beautiful? The accompanying email said:

"I am definitely enjoying the food in Italy, especially the caffe and the fresh warm pastries in the morning!

I am sending a photo of Vernazza in the Cinqueterre, the best Spaghetti alle Vongole I have ever eaten, Fragolino e bruschetta on the Italian Riviera and some photos of our day in San Gimignano.
